(1) Silicon steel is a relatively easy cutting material. Generally, low viscosity gear cutting fluid will be used to prevent burrs on the premise of easy cleaning of gear workpiece.
(2) When selecting cutting fluid for carbon steel gear cutting, the better viscosity should be determined according to the process difficulty and degreasing conditions.
(3) Due to the chemical reaction between galvanized steel and chlorine additives, attention should be paid to the possible white rust of gears when selecting gear cutting fluid. The use of Yida Borun sulfur type special gear cutting fluid can avoid rust, but it should be degreased as soon as possible after processing.
(4) Generally, gear cutting fluid containing sulfur and chlorine compound additives is used for cutting stainless steel gears to ensure extreme pressure performance while avoiding burrs, cracks and other problems on the workpiece.
