In response to the current situation of domestic gear machine tool research and development, Qizhong CNC, as a backbone enterprise in domestic machine tool manufacturing, has a solid foundation in machine tool research and development and manufacturing for over 60 years. At the same time, it has rich experience in manufacturing ordinary horizontal gear hobbing machines below 1.6m. Therefore, since 2008, the company has invested research and development efforts in the development and success of gear milling machines, gear hobbing machines, and gear grinding machines. For example, we have developed and manufactured a series of large-scale CNC vertical gear hobbing machines for 5m, 6m, 8m, 10m, and 12m, and have successively served key fields such as wind power, shipbuilding, and metallurgy in China.

Among them, the YK31500L CNC vertical gear hobbing machine (5m) (see online report on metal processing: Qizhong CNC actively promotes the localization of large gear machine tools) participated in the Beijing International Machine Tool Exhibition in 2009 and won the "Spring Yan Award". It was the first domestic machine tool recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, filling the gap in China. In response to the successful development of CNC vertical gear hobbing machines, the company conducted market research and successfully developed a series of large-scale CNC horizontal gear hobbing machines in 2011. Among them, the YK361600L CNC horizontal gear hobbing machine (1.6m) participated in the Nanjing International Machine Tool Exhibition in 2012 and won the "Spring Yan Award".
